I am currently working on our curriculum for our summer program and this will be perfect to make ESY special and fun for all of us! I especially love the cooking ideas and the whole Wizard of Oz theme can be adapted and modified by our whole K-6 program, which runs the scope of severely handicapped to children with Asperger's. Can't wait to tell the rest of the team.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798368475920876945.post-34663581711464803322011-07-18T20:39:16.531-04:002011-07-18T20:39:16.531-04:00Thank you for the inspiration. I'm sure this will be a summer your kids remember with fondness every time they see the Wizard of Oz.

It is so great of you to post links to the activities so families can repeat some of the best-loved ones at home.

I'm envious of the creative opportunity your district provides. We are given a total of 1.5 hours of therapy time per week (6 wks) as our district's ESY...wow (hear the flat tone in my voice???). I'm happy you shared your model so we can hold it up an an example of what good learning can happen during the summer.Rose-Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01125239149179291715noreply@blogger.com
