The Hidden Curriculum: One a Day Calendar for Kids offers simple social rules advice and pragmatic language in easy to understand language for all students, although it is aimed at learners on the Autism spectrum. It retails at about $16. There is also a version for adults and older adolescents that looks more towards work situations and a combo package with both calendars ($22).These could be used with our students in the way intended and with our AAC users, since so many of the daily lessons are language related as ways to teach and assess AAC use. Also old Hidden Curriculum Calendars can be cut up into squares and used as "Hidden Curriculum in a Jar" games.
