Wordless Wednesday - Juicing for Key Lime Pie

The student is accessing a wobble switch at mid-line on her wheelchair tray to activate the Wireless Jelly Bean Switch, which is plugged into the Power Link environmental control unit, which is controlling the power to the juicer. The teacher is pressing the lime onto the juicer. In the end we juiced one cup worth of lime juice!

  1. You are an amazing teacher - to got through all these different steps to allow a child to participate - you are truely something special. There are many teachers that would simple pull the child up close so they could watch. What a gift you are giving. PS - what power link are you using? Have you found one that's reasonably priced? Keep up your great work!

  2. We use the one from Ablenet. The cost is so-so, but they last forever!

Thanks for the compliment, just doing my job!

  4. I would love to try the Powerlink 4, but unless Ablenet is having a generous day and sends me one to review for the blog that isn't going to happen. I have eight working Powerlink 2 and 3's in my room! I really can't justify asking for another one!
